Welcome to Circles & Cookies. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using our website at circlesandcookies.com, our free printables, and any other products or services we offer (together, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Circles & Cookies is a small independent brand operated by Ozge Guner in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. If you have any questions about these Terms, email us at hello@circlesandcookies.com.

Who can use our Services

You may use our Services if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission. Our printables are designed for children ages 5 to 10, but the Services themselves (downloading, purchasing, contacting us) are intended for adults.

By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate.

License for our printables

When you download a printable from us, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You may print and use copies for your own family, classroom, tutoring practice, or homeschool group (up to about 30 students). You may not sell, redistribute, modify, or use our printables to train AI models.

Sharing our Pinterest pins

You may share our Pinterest pins on social media, blogs, and educational sites under these conditions:

• Include clear credit to "Circles & Cookies"
• Link back to the original page on circlesandcookies.com
• Do not crop out our logo or branding
• Do not present the work as your own
• Do not use our pins for advertising or commercial promotion of another product or service without our written permission

This permission applies only to our Pinterest pins. It does not extend to the printable PDFs themselves or to characters from our worksheets used as standalone illustrations.

Our intellectual property

Everything on the Circles & Cookies website and in our printables — including illustrations, characters, worksheet designs, layouts, story text, blog posts, and the Circles & Cookies brand name and logo — is our intellectual property or used with permission. It is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You don't get any ownership of our content just by visiting our site or downloading something. The licenses we grant (described above) are the only rights you receive.

Your responsibilities when using the Services

When you use our Services, you agree not to:

• Use the site or printables in any way that violates Canadian law or the laws of your own country
• Disrupt, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our site, our database, our email systems, or our security tools
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to download files, harvest emails, or copy content from the site
• Submit false or misleading information through our contact form
• Use our Services to harass, defame, or harm anyone
• Attempt to identify individual visitors using our anonymous analytics data

Content you send us

Currently, the only way to send us content is through our contact form. By sending us a message, you give us permission to read it, respond to it, and keep a copy as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that anything you send us is your own and does not violate anyone else's rights.

If we later add features that let visitors submit other content (such as photos, reviews, or comments), we will update these Terms first.

Educational purpose and outcomes

Our printables are educational tools designed to support analytical thinking, observation, reasoning, and learning through play. They are not therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical tools. We make no promises or guarantees about specific learning outcomes, academic results, test scores, developmental milestones, or skill improvements.

Every child learns differently. Our printables work best as one part of a broader learning environment that includes other activities, conversations, and support from caregivers and educators.

If your child has specific educational needs, learning differences, or developmental concerns, please consult a qualified educator, paediatrician, or specialist. Our printables are not a substitute for professional advice.

Third-party links

Our site and emails may include links to other websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms of those sites. Visiting them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms.

If we ever include affiliate links (where we may earn a small commission from a purchase you make), we will clearly mark them.

Disclaimers

We provide the Services "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, free of errors, free of bugs, or free of viruses, or that any printable will be suitable for every child or every situation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Canadian law, Circles & Cookies and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or printing costs.

If we are ever found liable for direct damages despite the above, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If your use of the Services causes harm to us or to a third party (for example, by violating these Terms or breaking the law), you agree to be responsible for the resulting claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a harmful way. You may stop using the Services any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always show the most recent version. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the site, and notify subscribers by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply.
